Todd returned to the windy city Saturday night for another sold out show at the historic The Old Town School Of Folk. Keeping in stride with other shows this week, this two set ‘Evening With’ featured too many highlights to list. Some hilarious banter comes from the stage between tracks, as there was great energy from the crowd all night. Appropriately there are a couple John Prine dedications made to everyone’s old friend Crusher. We miss you buddy.

The intimate Acorn Theater in southwestern Michigan played home to one of the most memorable shows of the year. The evening opened with Like A Rolling Stone played on piano, which was an early indication for the attentive crowd that this was a special night. Along with several cover tunes played including Needle And The Damage Done, some rare stories told, there was also some great banter between songs and too many other highlights to list.

This was the first solo show in several weeks and it’s hard to distinguish who is having more fun, the sold out crowd or the man on stage. This ‘Evening With’ features two sets, a very unique setlist with 36 tracks, some great banter between songs, and an appearance from Elvis singing Suspicious Minds.

A beautiful evening in Manitowoc and a setlist that seemed to be hand picked for new and old fans alike. Be sure to check out another awesome version of Sideshow Blues, the return of Spoke As A Child, and a classic Can’t Complain. Downtown was filled with great music and good folk, as this was a perfect finale to a great run up north.

This was a very intimate show and the enthusiastic, sold out crowd were all smiles. Along with some great banter between songs, Todd also grants many requests this evening. Don’t miss the return of Elvis singing his classic Don’t Be Cruel.

Todd seemed very excited as he returned to the famous Riverside Ballroom for a Thursday night show. Many familiar faces welcomed him to the stage and provided great backing vocals and a few whistles throughout the night. Iron Mike’s Main Man’s Last Request makes a rare appearance early in the set along with a very memorable version of Loney Girl.

The first night of this four show run was just as unique and special as the Cedar Cultural Center. A fantastic venue and setlist features rarely played tunes Happy New Year and All That Matters. Other highlights include classic versions of the K.K. Rider and Bill Elliott stories, and a three song encore.

Another packed house and another show for the ages. Beautiful and rustic Jim Thorpe welcomed Todd with open arms and he returned the favor. With three covers in a row, a lot of banter between songs, some rarely told stories and a special guest appearance, there is something for everyone in this show. The Dylan verse of Keep Off The Grass is classic and a must have.

Todd’s first solo performance in over a month and The Birchmere was the perfect setting for such a special show. Not only did the sold out crowd request some great songs, they were both silent and extremely loud adding great energy and good vibes to the house. Two rarely played tunes, Happy To Be Here and Happy New Year also describe how everyone felt after this show. Happy, very Happy.

The energy and good vibes flowing through the Revolution Room were contagious. Many spontaneous rarities, unique renditions of classic tunes and covers emerged throughout the night. Nothing was held back on this one folks. Todd and the Taxi seemed to be having just as much fun on stage, as everyone else lucky enough to be in attendance.
