A beautiful Saturday in the Park, you’d think it was the 4th of July. People dancing, people laughing, a man selling Guacamole and Todd sitting in on electric for part of Amanda’s show.

The final set of the festival began with with Statistician’s Blues, Just Like Old Times and Can’t Complain before the 18 Minutes Intro. This unique setlist saw Ballad Of The Devil’s Backbone Tavern lead into the Aaron Allen Story, Too Soon To Tell, and several requests. For the encore, Todd grabbed the electric for rockin versions of Is This Thing Working and Good News Blues.

Friday night in Huntville brought out a special guest, as Jason Isbell joined Amanda Shires and Todd for most of their sets.

The beautiful Bijou Theatre in Knoxville was the perfect setting to start the final leg of the 2012 Stoner Fables Tour.

Todd opened with Spoke As A Child, Is This Thing Working and Tension, before welcoming Amanda Shires back to the stage for The Very Last Time, Carla and the remainder of the show. Following Too Soon To Tell, Just Like Old Times and Statistician’s Blues, came unforgettable versions of Play A Train Song, the 15 Minutes Story and Sideshow Blues. Todd returned to the stage for a four song encore, as the night closed with the classic Come From The Heart.

Carla and The Very Last Time came before crowd favorites, Tension and Ballad Of The Devil’s Backbone Tavern. Following a great opening set from Ashleigh Flynn, Todd took the stage to another wonderful crowd at Chicago’s new City Winery.

Tonight’s setlist was completely different, beginning with Can’t Complain, Greencastle Blues and introducing new tune New York Banker. Rarely played Long Year, was followed by Carla and The Very Last Time. Other highlights included Tension, Beer Run and Stuck On The Corner. The night closed with two classic Jerry Jeff Walker tunes, as an extended story lead into Sideshow Blues and Play A Train Song for the encore.

Night number two saw another fantastic opening set from Michigan native Amy LaVere, before a very intamite Monday night performance from Todd.

After Looking For A Job and Too Soon to Tell, came a great story about The Gambler and The Grateful Dead. Following West Nashville Grand Ballroom Gown and Can’t Complain, Todd told a 15 year old story about meeting Dave Hicks, before East Nashville Skyline and several great requests.
