A beautiful Saturday in the Park, you’d think it was the 4th of July. People dancing, people laughing, a man selling Guacamole and Todd sitting in on electric for part of Amanda’s show.

The final set of the festival began with with Statistician’s Blues, Just Like Old Times and Can’t Complain before the 18 Minutes Intro. This unique setlist saw Ballad Of The Devil’s Backbone Tavern lead into the Aaron Allen Story, Too Soon To Tell, and several requests. For the encore, Todd grabbed the electric for rockin versions of Is This Thing Working and Good News Blues.

Friday night in Huntville brought out a special guest, as Jason Isbell joined Amanda Shires and Todd for most of their sets.

Can’t Complain, Stuck On Corner and East Nashville Skyline started things off, before Jason and Amanda joined Todd for In The Beginning, West Nashville Grand Ballroom Gown and In Between Jobs. The beautiful Bijou Theatre in Knoxville was the perfect setting to start the final leg of the 2012 Stoner Fables Tour.

Todd opened with Spoke As A Child, Is This Thing Working and Tension, before welcoming Amanda Shires back to the stage for The Very Last Time, Carla and the remainder of the show. Following Too Soon To Tell, Just Like Old Times and Statistician’s Blues, came unforgettable versions of Play A Train Song, the 15 Minutes Story and Sideshow Blues. Todd returned to the stage for a four song encore, as the night closed with the classic Come From The Heart.

Rose City, Happy New Year and Too Soon To Tell kicked things off, before resounding versions of Greencastle Blues and Statistician’s Blues. Carla and The Very Last Time came before crowd favorites, Tension and Ballad Of The Devil’s Backbone Tavern. This fantastic set closed with a Stuck On The Corner singalong, Beer Run and Age Like Wine. Amazing energy filled The Jewish Mother on Friday night, for an unforgettable solo performance out on Virginia Beach.

Looking For A Job, Can’t Complain, Greencastle Blues and the 18 Minutes Intro kicked things off. After a Stuck On The Corner singalong, rarely played Moondawg’s Tavern lead into the classic Long Haired Country Boy. Following a great opening set from Ashleigh Flynn, Todd took the stage to another wonderful crowd at Chicago’s new City Winery.

Tonight’s setlist was completely different, beginning with Can’t Complain, Greencastle Blues and introducing new tune New York Banker. Rarely played Long Year, was followed by Carla and The Very Last Time. Other highlights included Tension, Beer Run and Stuck On The Corner. The night closed with two classic Jerry Jeff Walker tunes, as an extended story lead into Sideshow Blues and Play A Train Song for the encore.

Chicago’s newest and finest live music venue, the City Winery hosted a fantastic and very intimate two night stand in the windy city.

Todd opened the shows with Nancy Griffith’s classic Love At The Five And Dime, Too Soon To Tell and In The Beginning. After Looking For A Job and I Spoke As A Child, requests included Lonely Girl and Doublewide Blues. With a return to Alexandria, VA just outside the nation’s capitol, an amazing crowd packed everyone’s favorite music hall, The Birchmere.

As great energy filled the house, Beer Run> Age Like Wine, Too Soon To Tell and In the Beginning opened the show. Following Stuck On The Corner and Statistician’s Blues, came a couple great stories and Vinyl Records. This fantastic setlist also included Tension> Three Little Birds, New York Banker and Greencastle Blues. For the encore, Todd granted a D.B. Night number two saw another fantastic opening set from Michigan native Amy LaVere, before a very intamite Monday night performance from Todd.

The set began with Happy New Year, the 18 Minutes Intro, Mission Accomplished and You Think You Know Somebody. After Looking For A Job and Too Soon to Tell, came a great story about The Gambler and The Grateful Dead. Following West Nashville Grand Ballroom Gown and Can’t Complain, Todd told a 15 year old story about meeting Dave Hicks, before East Nashville Skyline and several great requests. The first show of a two night stand at the legendary Ark was unforgettable, and sure didn’t feel like a Sunday.

Beer Run> Age Like Wine and Horseshoe Lake opened the set, and were followed by a few new tunes from Agnostic Hymns and Stoner Fables. After the Aaron Allen Story and Tension, several great requests included Play A Trian Song and Statistician’s Blues. Todd then told a story about Dave Hicks, before the premier performance of the Elvis standard, Love Me. The encore featured Sideshow Blues and the Motown classic, Ain’t Too Proud To Beg.
