Thanks for making these available. The show was great.
I talked with the guy at the show responsible for recording the shows about the volume level of the recordings (they are too low relative to “normal” mp3’s/audio files). I process the files to get better volume levels. I have one line commands I run on all of the files on a Linux/Ubuntu machine. The software is free. If anyone is interested I’ll gladly share what I do. The primary command is “normalize-audio” with the default settings.
David
Some of those shows with The Taxi have greatly varying volume levels. We did not want to normalize the volume levels any more than we already did, in or to maintain as much quality and provide the best product to our customers. Having read your comments, spoken to fans at shows, and reading other comments, we will be raising and normalizing future show volume levels.
At TSL, we are constantly working towards perfection. We appreciate your comments and feedback, helping us provide the highest quality product possible.
Thanks again for your support,
TSL
awesome show!! lot’s of classic Todd. elizabeth cook & tim carrol started the show off right. Hat’s off to East Nashville!
Apologies for the somewhat unrelated question of TSL - some of the recent shows (Iron Horse, NYC) have not been posted…is it fair to assume they won’t be? would be a shame but perhaps the venues had some restrictions?
Dave,
Unfortunately neither show will be available, as occasionally there are venue restrictions.
I’d be hard pressed to write a better setlist! Great show, and the volume has no trouble bouncing the paintings on the wall! Thanks to whoever made this possible.
